Top 10 Selling Media Franchises in Japan in 2018

<p>2018 is at its end and it will be remembered for a variety of reasons in the anime world. The list will cover sales from December 11 to December 9, 2018. This list will include the raw yen totals of Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, music CDs, novels in print, and manga in print. However, it will not include games, film tickets, digital downloads, and other forms of media sales.</p>
<p>Before we finally begin, I would like to advise you to not be triggered by the list. It doesn’t make one series better than the other. Here is the list:</p>

Disenchantment Season 2 Release Date And Everything You Need To Know

<p>In a surprise move, Netflix has announced the second season of <em>Disenchantment</em>. The move came as a surprise since the first season was not exactly a darling of the critics. But it was later revealed that Netflix had already ordered 20 episodes in the first go. So the second season is definitely happening.</p>
<h2>When Does Disenchantment Season 2 Come Out?</h2>
<p>The show was created by Matt Groening who is known for the Simpsons. Season 1 contained ten episodes featuring Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson as the hard-drinking Princess Bean. She is supported by her very own elf and a personal demon. As if the castle wasn’t enough. The fantasy show is set in the medieval kingdom of Dreamland.</p>
<p>The culmination of season 1 saw all of the dreamland turning into stone leaving the fate of many in the lurch. In spite of that, most of the main cast comprising Abbi Jacobson as Bean, Eric Andre as Luci, John DiMaggio as Bean’s father King Zøg, Tress MacNeille as Bean’s stepmother Queen Oona and Sharon Horgan as Bean’s mother Queen Dagmar are expected to return. Also, the season 1 finale saw Elfo’s lifeless body being dragged away by unseen hands, leaving the fate of the Elf unpredictable. But the good news is that he was probably not taken away by Whitewalkers.</p>
<p>The return of Billy West and Maurice LaMarche is doubtful as for their characters, Sorcerio and Odval were turned to stone. The show is a true fantasy show with things like the elixir of life which was used to revive Queen Dagmar who in turn turned most of Dreamland into stone.</p>
<p>Bean is also rumored to possess magical powers. The finale left many unanswered questions like who kidnapped Luci? And who is Elfo’s mother? The finale also had a Simpson’s reference which is not surprising as both were conceived by the same person.</p>
<p>It remains to be seen what happens in <strong>Disenchantment season 2</strong>. The fate of Dreamland hangs in the balance. Will Bean be able to return Dreamland from its current state of stone land?</p>
<p>If Kroenig’s work on the Simpson’s is any indication, the show might just surprise us in its second run.</p>
<h2>Disenchantment Season 2 Release Date</h2>
<p>As of now, there is no official date of release, but it is expected sometime in August next year. But since there is a very good possibility that the 20 episodes were worked on at once, the second season might come out early, say in early 2019. And, recently when an announcement was made, in which it was said, the light novel series will get its own anime real soon. Fans are eagerly waiting for the series to get animated.</p>
<p>Well, recently, the anime’ staff revealed the Staff members details and Characters for the anime. It was also revealed that the series would get a Web-Radio programme in Japan hosted by the Voice actors of Rimuru and Rigordo. (Miho Okazaki and Kanehira Yamamoto).</p>
<p>The new characters that were announced by the staff members this time are from different races, The voice actor for Rigurdo (Head of the Goblin Village) will be Kanehira Yamamoto, The voice actor for Rigurdo’s son Rigur will be Haruki Ishiya and the voice actor for Gobuta (Village’s life of the party) will be Asuna Tomari. The dwarf Kaijin, who was a blacksmith of the Kingdom of Dwargon, will be voiced by Atsushi Ono. The tree fairy Trainee will be voiced by Rie Tanaka.</p>

<p>The staff members for the series are said to be, The Director for the series will be Yasuhito Kikuchi, Assistant Director will be Atsushi Nakayama, Series Composition will be by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, Character Designs under the table of Ryoma Ebata, Monster Designs by Takahiro Kishida, Music by Elements Garden and the Animation Production are done by 8-Bit.</p>
<p>The story of this anime follows Rimuru, who was reborn as a slime with the unique ability ‘Predator’ and ‘Great Sage’ these abilities make him hear a voice in his head that explains him everything he needs to know. That voice will be Megumi Toyogochi. The first person he is going to meet in the new world will be the dragon Veldora. Another person that Rimuru impacts are Shizu and Milim (a dragon magician).</p>
